5 Steps to a Successful Hoarding Installation
Step 1 – Survey
Every building site is unique and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t serve anyone. That’s why we begin our hoarding process with a survey to gather all the information we need to make your project a success.
Our Hoarding Experts come to you, noting down all your requirements and taking the necessary measurements of your site. And, because we are focused on details, we’ll also plan out vehicle and plant access so that the installation is as smooth as possible.
Step 2 – Design
Once we’ve got a firm idea of where your hoarding is going, then we move on to what it will look like. The dimensions and information gathered in the survey are passed on to our design team, who pour themselves a large cup of coffee, and take time to make sure the end result fits perfectly with your brand guidelines.
We’ll produce a proof of the design for you to check over and then, if required, we’ll design the innovative extras – built-up letters, lighting, digital screens for information or advertising, all in keeping with your brand voice.
Step 3 – Production
Once you’ve told our design team how much you love their work, we move into the production phase. We make everything in house, and our large format flatbed printers print directly to board, helping us speed up the whole process.
We care about your brand as much as you do. So, rather than relying on the naked eye, we use a digital colour server to ensure your boards are printed in your exact brand colours.
(You can check out why our colour matching process is the best for your brand awareness here)
And, to round off the high-quality service, we use UV resistant substrates and inks to make sure your carefully designed boards don’t fade in the sun.
Step 4 – Installation
You don’t want to have to deal with 3 different sets of contractors to get your hoarding in place, which is why we cover installation as well. We’re well-versed in the different considerations needed to get your hoarding up and make it secure.
We install internal and external hoarding frameworks, and use in-ground or on-ground fixing methods, depending on the situation. And because access is always important, we put in the necessary vehicle and pedestrian access doors and finish off any painting needed to make sure the framework fits with the hoarding itself.
Once we have the framework in place, we’re at the good bit, and we can install your hoarding panels. Your safety is paramount, so our experienced fitters put your bespoke printed panels in place, working to the highest levels of health and safety. They’ll add any extras we’ve designed for you (like the lighting or raised letters you worked on with our team).
The end result is a visual masterpiece, ready to turn heads and imprint your branding into the brains of passing commuters. Oh, and with “The Butler Finish” guaranteed!
Step 5 – Completion & Aftercare
Did we mention that we were a full-service firm? We stick with you until the very end of the project, handling cleaning, minor repairs, and even updating the sales messages printed on your boards. Because no one wants to walk past a Christmas Sale advert in February.
And, once you’ve completed your building work, we’ll remove the whole thing for you, revealing your finished product in all its glory.
To Wrap Things Up
Your building project is the star, and your main focus. But there’s no reason why your hoarding shouldn’t reflect the high standards of your brand. Take the opportunity of yards of prime advertising real estate to commission something that will get people talking – talking about you!
