The award-winning Cotswolds Distillery wanted to elevate its visitor experience with a cohesive suite of signage across its Visitor Centre and surrounding grounds. The goal: clear wayfinding, engaging storytelling for guided tours, and elegant, durable signs that complement the site’s rustic charm — all while preserving the natural beauty of the Cotswolds landscape.

Project Highlights
Entrance Signage
Two post-mounted aluminium entrance signs greet visitors on arrival. Finished to mimic the look of traditional timber, these signs blend seamlessly with the local stone walls and countryside aesthetic.
Directional Wayfinding
Clear, understated post-mounted directional signs guide both trade and visitor traffic smoothly into the site, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
Distillery Shutter Wrap
To add brand impact at the heart of the distillery, we produced a large bespoke shutter wrap. Using high-quality cast wrapping vinyl, the iconic Cotswolds Distillery logo now takes pride of place on the roller shutter, adding character and cohesion to the production area.
Informational Panels
Inside the distillery, a series of durable, well-positioned panels provide visitors with fascinating insights into the whisky and gin-making process – enriching tours without detracting from the equipment on display.
Wetlands Interpretive Signs
In the on-site wetlands, we fabricated elegant aluminium lectern signs showcasing the area’s unique ecological features and species. A dedicated donor sign recognises key contributors, all designed to sit sympathetically within the wildflower-rich landscape.
Attention to Detail
All signage was fabricated in aluminium for longevity and minimal maintenance, with finishes and typography carefully chosen to reflect the distillery’s refined, handcrafted ethos. Every element was installed with care to preserve the site’s tranquil, rural feel.
